On just under two acres of lowland forest, the cabin and its concrete veranda are raised to offer amenity. Against BAL-29 setbacks, north of a swale and on the low side of a slope, charred spotted gum wraps externally where shutters work as blinds overnight and shades during the day.
A solar battery is the only thing required to take the fully electric site off-grid, with energy, drinking and bore water harvested and waste treated through an effluent disposal system.
